About

About the firm

Our work centres on property and construction, commercial disputes, debt recovery, corporate and commercial matters, and selected private client work.

We aim to give advice that is clear, properly grounded in the documents and useful in practice.

Advice starts from the documents rather than from the summary of them: the contract, the correspondence and the register are read before a view is given, because that is where most cases are decided. The firm is small enough for a partner to take on an urgent, multi-party matter and move on it the same day, and disciplined enough to record the position at each step so nothing later turns on memory.

Direct partner involvement

Clients work directly with the partner responsible for their matter. Together, the partners bring more than 40 years of practice in Cyprus.

Our principal work

How we work

  • Documents first. We review the relevant contracts, correspondence and evidence before recommending a course of action.
  • Clear scope. We identify the immediate priorities, the proposed work and the fee basis before substantive work begins.
  • Practical communication. We explain the available options, important deadlines and the next decision required from the client.

Clients in Cyprus and abroad

The firm acts for local and international clients. Meetings can be held remotely and, where appropriate, transactions may be completed through a properly prepared power of attorney.

Our Nicosia office and the way we work with clients based elsewhere are described on the Nicosia page.

Starting a matter

An initial enquiry should identify the parties, provide a short factual outline and state any urgent deadline. No lawyer-client relationship is created until the firm has completed its conflict and regulatory checks and has confirmed the engagement and scope of work in writing.

Contact our Nicosia office to discuss a Cyprus transaction, dispute or advisory matter.

Tell us what you need done

The matter and the deadline, if there is one. We will tell you who in the firm would handle it and what it would cost before you commit to anything. We reply within one business day.
