The guides and tools on this site come out of files like these. The entries below are real matters of the firm, stated at the level of detail that protects the people in them: no names, no figures, and nothing that would let a reader identify a client. Where a matter is still running, the entry says what we are doing rather than how it ended.

Across public and private projects: building contracts and subcontracts, arbitrations, one of them against an international contractor, subcontractor and supplier disputes, insurance claims, planning matters and the regulatory questions that follow a large site.

A customer injured on the premises of an international fast food chain
Instructed after the injury, we set out the claim in a letter before action, supported by the evidence gathered in the first weeks, and pressed it to a conclusion. Compensation was recovered without the client ever having to sit through a trial.

A British resident of Cyprus against a financial advisory firm
A pension transferred and invested on advice that did not survive scrutiny. We took the complaint to the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, set out the claim in letters before action to the firm and the adviser, and issued civil proceedings, which are running now.

A steady strand of the practice is people outside Cyprus with property here or property they want: purchases run by power of attorney, due diligence before signature, contracts deposited in time, wills that cover the Cyprus assets. The route we use is published on buying from abroad.
