Practice and experience
Klitos handles litigation and arbitration, property and construction, corporate and commercial matters, debt recovery, wills and estates, employment and residency matters. He acts for clients in Cyprus and abroad, including buyers, companies and overseas law firms.
A substantial part of his disputes work concerns contractors and developers, including delay, defects, variations, final accounts, payment and on-demand guarantees. He handles cases from pleadings and interim applications through witness preparation and advocacy in court or arbitration.
Approach
He agrees the fee before starting, sends substantive correspondence in live disputes to the client for approval and explores settlement before escalating.
Education and qualifications
He holds a law degree, studied economics and completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) in England and Wales. He is a Certified Trainer of the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus and holds a certification in arbitration from the Cyprus Consumer Centre.
His writing includes contributions featured in Fintechview on smart contracts, proptech and AI in law.
